Title: Unprepared

Does anybody know what happened to the guys in the Holte End who unfurled a banner with the words 'Unprepared' on. The stewards made them take it down but I don't know whether they were also thrown out... so much for free speech!

The whole place is rotten!

Party of the reason I dislike modern football is the silencing of fans by clubs.  Rotten is the right word if true.

And Pat Murphy was reporting from the Newcastle game - furthest away from Villa Park!?

They always make them take anything down immediately. The last one I remember being the Houllier one.

My personal views are that we should be behind the team pre-match and during; and if you need to unveil the banner on the final whistle.

Most of the home fans are half way to the pub by that point. ;)

My friends were the ones who put up the banner, the boys told me that they were informed by the stewards because it had Randy's face on, it ruffled feathers. It didn't last long but their voice was heard. Free speech for 5 mins, at least we got the point.
We've since reclaimed the banner, should we take it to the next away games??

Was this the one with blue writing on? As I was filing out after the final whistle I noticed one being either put up or taken down on the upper Holte but couldn't read it. It looked like it had more than just one word on it though.

The club can do want they want,you are a paying guest.Nothing more.
