Good article, Dave.

Agreed.

Good read , thank you.

I think that's a fair assessment, although its a fine line between the professionalism you accredit to Holt and the cheating of Suarez. He is a total *insert you own expletive* though. Maybe Holt will be less of a waste of space I thought he might be. Hope so.
The Villa resembled a proper team from what I saw of the game. Brilliant to see it again finally!

Good read as always.

Good read as always. Liked the reference to Plastic Bertrand, that'll have a few scratching thier heads.

Good read Dave, my sentiments summed up nicely.
And going back to one of your previous articles, I was in hospitality in the Centenary Stand for the game and the number of half and half scarf wankers in there was staggering!

Good article Dave.

Of course, the game would be a lot easier if we’ve finally signed the midfielder, and hopefully spare central defender, we need
The most important line for me
Im not expecting a superstar but the sort of quality of Bertrand would be fine , still young enough to fulfil potential with premiership experience already , but its not up to me to get these players .

Great article Dave, esp the reference to the pundits who seem to have the combined talent to pi** everybody off, including my 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' supporting mates who I met up with before and after the game at Anfield.
Fingers crossed for the CM and CB we seem to be crying out for, and a few more performances of this quality!

It's a good point about our away form - I was only thinking last week that it must be among the best and that if, like normal teams, our home form exceeded it, we'd be right up there.
Good assessment of the penalty and the pundits/RedScouse old boys take on it.
